The Characters

My characters are all imaginary combinations of people I have met throughout my varied life. My favourite character from my first novel 'Cure' is Paula Twist, a beautiful and powerful lady with strange sexual behaviour. I have portrayed her as a strong willed woman, deeply in love with her past lovers but tired of life and new love. Her thoughts of real love have been decimated by the loss of former loves, including her own family. She has had a long life, enduring these losses and her mind was altered unintentionally by time itself.

Her current attraction to the opposite sex is purely interest driven, as if to discover something different and to regain the feeling of love she once held so dear; this indeed is what led to the gay encounter 'she thought' would happen on the aircraft.

Adult Adventure Thriller readers that have not read 'Cure' will wonder what this character is doing in such a genre of book? Well it is quite simple, the girl is a bad ass; she uses men like soldiers use guns! She is a power that you cannot comprehend. Paula is only one of the charismatic people in the story; there are many more, and I shall go into them at a later date in this blog. Read the book and you will understand why the book has become so popular in such a short period with Adult Adventure Thriller readers like yourself. Reading the book again, you will pick up on the characters mind set; I have had quite a few discussions with readers on the subject, with some interesting points being made! There are not many books out there with such hardcore violence involved that incorporate intricate plots and the building of relationships! Well, what can I say?
