Love

An African chap on Linkedin asked me to resolve what love actually is and it got me thinking. Obviously biologically we need love to procreate; it is also there for parents to protect their offspring or partners to ensure the genetic line continues in agreement with Darwinism. Love is born out of kindness to others, you should never expect to be loved or ask for it. There are different types of love, parental love born out of nurturing and then there is the love of friends born out of interactions and sharing interests. Then there is love between a couple,born firstly out of physical attraction which develops into a partnership to evolve into a deeper love, more akin to the nurturing love. All stages of love are linked, but kindness is at it's core!
